I'm a UX Designer at Ultramed, a UK healthcare software company, where I design clinical tools used day-to-day by healthcare professionals. Most recently I led a ground-up redesign of the Clinical Notes module, now demoed to prospects as part of an upgraded product tier.
My route into UX wasn't a straight line. I spent over eight years in architecture and education — leading teams, managing complex projects, and digitising paper-based workflows at BMS College of Architecture. That work pulled me toward a simple question: why are the tools people rely on so often frustrating to use? It led me to a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction at Newcastle University, and into design properly.
I'm drawn to complex problem spaces — healthcare, and domains where the workflows are messy and the stakes are real. The way I design has changed a lot recently, too: I work in an AI-first way, prototyping with tools like Claude Code and Cursor, which lets me move from idea to a working, clickable prototype in hours instead of days. That means I can test real interactions with users earlier, and spend less time on production busywork and more on the actual design problem.
Outside of design, you'll find me reading non-fiction, following developments in tech, or planning the next road trip.
